Czy jak niektórzy sądzą znajduje się ono w monastyrze Tumane położonym o 7 km od ruin gołębieckiego zamku? Możliwe, choć trzeba pamiętać, że sam monastyr powstał dopiero w XVIII wieku.

Zawisza z małżeństwa z Barbarą pozostawił 4 synów - Stanisława, Marcina, Zawiszę i Jana.

Pamięć o Zawiszy

jest żywa do dziś. Jego cechy charaktery, jego całe życie to nic innego jak wcielenie moralnych ideałów średniowiecznego rycerstwa. Czy należy się zatem dziwić, że chociaż tak mało faktów historycznych z jego życia przetrwało do naszych czasów, jego legenda jest ciągle żywa?

Na pewno przyczyniła się do tego literatura, której Zawisza był częstym bohaterem. Skończmy więc tę opowieść przytoczeniem fragmentów kilku dzieł.
